Name: Maxwell Crawford
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Corporate Credits: 10,000 (If I'm understanding this right...)
Appearance: Maxwell Crawford is, unlike most researchers, very well-kept. Usually seen wearing a nice suit, he looks nothing like what he should. Most in his position look grungy, from pulling incredibly long work days, but his prematurely grayed hair has never once looked at all dirty. He stands at just over six feet, and, despite his age, there's something almost childlike in his expression.
Likes: Maxwell's chief interest is his project, "Codename: Contemplation". His other interests and skills are mobile suits of any kind, to the point that he's been called a "MS Maniac".
Dislikes: Maxwell's chief dislike is unabiding evil. Those who care nothing for others sicken him
History: Maxwell was born and raised on the lunar colony Von Braun City. As a result, his view of the world was twisted by the massive propaganda of Anaheim Electronics. Defying YOUR expectations, Maxwell's parents are both alive and well, and they loved him very much. He excelled all through school, and graduated top of his class. Like most Lunarians, he ended up working for Anaheim, as one of their top Mobile Suit researchers. He made many technological breakthroughs, including a composite superceramic compound that matched Gundanium in its defensive capability, more advanced beam weapons, and new systems to support the development of more powerful Mobile Suits, and, especially, Gundams. However, his crowning achievement was to be a new Mobile Suit computer, capable of sentient thought, as well as a whole new piece to the Gundam line.
The first was the product of "Codename: Contemplation". A new computer system designed to interface with its pilots and their Mobile Suits, be they Oldtypes or Newtypes. A type of biocomputer, its organic components were derived from Maxwell's own genetic code. The fact that it so easily interfaced with any system it was connected to made people suspect Maxwell was, in fact, a Newtype. He never bothered to find out. New or Old, he still did what he did. It made no difference.
The second was far more unlawful. After reverse-engineering components of the Formula Project of rival company SNRI, he was tasked to take one of the Gundam-class Mobile Suit designs, and apply data gleaned from the Formula Project to it. Since he knew the defense would take a hit from this, he chose the most armor-heavy unit avaliable: The Enanced Theta Gundam, known to most as the Enhanced Double Zeta, or Enhanced ZZ Gundam. Finding ways to compress the systems involved in its function, as well as replacing the Gundarium-heavy armor with a ceramic armor of comprable strength, resulted in a much lighter Mobile Suit, with a size reduction, bringing it to dimensions similar to its predecessor, Zeta Gundam. This new mobile suit was truly a thing of beauty. To further make it an effective weapon, its color scheme was also changed, from the blue and white seen in most Gundams, to a color scheme of mostly navy and dark gray, similar to the dominant color scheme of the long-defunct Titans. Believing this to be the final word in Anaheim-made Gundams, he gave it the unofficial moniker of "Omega Gundam"
Despite what his higher-ups thought of them, the projects went smoothly and swiftly, to the point that he had a working, virtually bug-free beta of the device, and a beta-class prototype of his new Mobile Suit... Of course, here's where it all starts to fall apart. On a test run of these Betas in other areas of space (A test Maxwell had insisted on conducting personally), he finally became aware of the dark stranglehold Anaheim had on the solar system. It was at this point that Maxwell made a fateful decision: Physically incorporating "Contemplation" into the Omega Gundam by dividing it into parts, and installing it nearly everywhere in the suit, Maxwell rewrote the programming to accept him and him alone as its pilot. Once finished with that, he did the unthinkable, and made an escape from Anaheim, taking his greatest works with him.
Pictures: None, yet.
